We are delighted to present the 2012 EANT Conference just outside of Washington D.C at the Hyatt Reston Town Center! We hope the following information will be helpful for you in planning your trip. As we continue to organize this event, this page will continue to be updated, so do check back.

DIRECTIONS TO THE HYATT REGENCY RESTON from...

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) - 6.59 miles
From airport take Dulles Access Road East toward Washington, DC. At Reston, use Exit 12, Reston Parkway/VA 602 and make a Left on to Reston Parkway. Third traffic light turn left onto Bluemont Way. Turn right onto Presidents Street to Hyatt Regency Reston.


Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport/Washington, DC (DCA) - 22 miles
Head North on the George Washington Memorial Parkway (crossing over into Virginia). Take the VA-123 exit toward Chain Bridge/McLean. Keep right at the fork to go on VA-123 S. Merge onto VA-267 W toward I-495 N/Dulles Airport (Portions toll). Take Reston Parkway/VA-602 exit- Exit 12. Keep Right at the fork to go on Reston Parkway/VA-602 N. At the second traffic light turn left onto Bluemont Way. Turn right onto Presidents Street to Hyatt Regency Reston.


Baltimore and Point North (55.11 miles or more)
Follow I-95 South to Washington, DC beltway then exit right (west) onto I-495. Follow I-495 across into Virginia and exit right onto Rt. 267-Exit 45A toward Dulles Airport/Dulles Toll Road. Take Reston Parkway/VA-602 exit-Exit 12. Keep Right at the fork to go on Reston Parkway/VA-602 N. At the second traffic light turn left onto Bluemont Way. Take immediate right onto Presidents Street to Hyatt Regency Reston.


Richmond and Points South (115.20 miles or more)
Follow I-95 North to Washington, DC beltway (at Springfield), then exit onto I-495 (north). Follow I-495 to Rt. 267-Exit 45 (left exit), toward Dulles Airport/Dulles Toll Road. Take Reston Parkway/VA-602 exit-Exit 12. Keep Right at the fork to go on Reston Parkway/VA-602 N. Turn Left onto Bluemont Way. Take immediate right onto Presidents Street Hyatt Regency Reston.


Leesburg and Points West (19.72 miles or more)
Two choices: (A) Follow Rt. 7 East to Dranesville and turn right onto Reston Parkway (Rt. 602). Proceed south approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Bluemont Way and take immediate right onto Presidents Street. Hotel will be on the left. (B) Take Dulles Greenway Toll Road East past Dulles International Airport to Exit 12, Reston Parkway. Turn left onto Reston Parkway. Third traffic light turn left onto Bluemont Way. Take immediate right onto Presidents Street to Hyatt Regency Reston.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE HOTEL

There are three possible airports:

  • Dulles International Airport (IAD)
  • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA); and
  • Baltimore/Washington Airport (BWI).

BWI is the farthest and Dulles the closest. If you are traveling from DCA or BWI, allow 90 minutes for the commute in traffic.


Dulles International Airport (IAD), is located 6.7 miles from Hyatt Regency Reston. Complimentary Shuttle Service is available from Dulles Airport to the Hyatt Regency Reston!

Our luxury hotel offers a complimentary shuttle (download a schedule) that arrives at Dulles Airport at the top of each hour between 6:00am to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday; and 7:00am to 10:00pm on Saturday andSunday. The pick-up and drop-off point are at curbs 2A and 2H, adjacent to the lower-level baggage claim level. Return shuttle transportation from the hotel departs on the :45 (3/4 hour) beginning at 5:45am, Monday through Friday and 6:45am, Saturday and Sunday.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is located 23.8 miles from Hyatt Regency Reston. Super Shuttle service is available for approximately $27 each way.

TRANSPORT BY TAXI to and from Ronald Reagan Airport
Taxi fare is approx $50 to $60, depending on traffic.


Baltimore/Washington Airport (BWI) is located 52.5 miles from Hyatt Regency Reston. Super Shuttle service is also available from BWI to Reston for approximately $63 each way.

TRANSPORT BY TAXI to and from ther Baltimore/Washington Airport
Taxi fare is approx $100, depending on traffic.


METRO to and from Baltimore/Washington Airport
Closest Metro stop: West Falls Church Metro (Orange Line). Located 9 miles from Hyatt Regency Reston. Guests needing transportation to the West Falls Church Metro Station will need to take the Fairfax Connector Bus #505.


AMTRAK
Amtrak is located 20 miles from Hyatt Regency Reston.


TRANSPORT BY TAXI
Taxi fare is approximately $70, depending on traffic.


LOCAL TRANSIT SYSTEM
RIBS Busline. Serves all points in Reston cost 75 cents.


WEATHER
October in Washington, DC is a beautiful time to visit. The foliage will be at its peak with the weather not too warm and not too cool. It is the perfect time to tour the city or surrounding countryside and enjoy the autumn season.

Average High: 68 degrees

Average Low: 50 degrees


DRESS
Dress is casual. We recommend you bring a warm sweater and lightweight jacket with clothing you can wear in layers as the evenings will be cool.

AREAS OF INTEREST NEAR THE HYATT HOTEL
For entertainment and shopping, Hyatt Regency Reston is located in the heart of Reston's Town Center, where you will find more than 50 stores, 30 restaurants, and a 13-screen multiplex theater right outside next to the hotel. Seeking a more active experience? Enjoy the local jogging and biking trails or ice skating at the Pavillion during the winter months. Here is a listing of some of the places to choose from:


EXTEND YOUR VISIT
Just a short distance from the city of Washington, D.C., it is well worth an extra few days to visit our nation's capital or explore the countryside. Washington DC and the National Mall (Smithsonian Museums) are just 18 miles from the hotel. You can take metro to the city or arrange a tour through DC Tours and Reston Limousine.
